Exam Pattern

The NEET exam pattern includes the following details:

1. Exam mode: NEET is conducted in both online (computer-based) and offline (pen and paper-based) modes. However, the exam is mostly conducted in the online mode.

2. Exam duration: The total duration of the NEET exam is 3 hours.

3. Number of questions: There are a total of 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the exam.

4. Language: The question paper is available in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, and Urdu.

5. Marking scheme: Each correct answer carries 4 marks, while each incorrect answer attracts a penalty of 1 mark.

6. Sections: The NEET exam consists of three sections - Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

7. Total marks: The total marks for NEET exam is 720.

8. Time allocation: Candidates can allocate their time as per their preference within the given exam duration.
